Emirates Preinsulated Pipes Industries will be exhibiting its latest products at The Big 5 Construct Kenya this November. We spoke to the General Manager, Iyad Barghouthi; here's what he told us as he prepares to participate in the largest construction event in Kenya.

What products will you be showcasing at the event?

We will be showcasing preinsulated pipes and fittings, HDPE pressure pipes, leak detection system for pipes and ray joints for district cooling, oil gas and other energy related applications.

What value do these products bring to the region’s construction industry?

We will bring reliable pre-insulated piping’s (up to 1800mm) for district cooling/heating sector and HDPE pressure pipes (up to 1000 mm OD) for the water industry sector.

Can you share your outlook on the Kenyan construction industry:
Why is it important for you to do business in the region?

The Middle East and Africa are expected to hold the highest market shares in the district cooling market. We have already supplied for many iconic projects in the Middle East. We wish to explore new markets in Kenya and other African regions.

What is unique about the Kenyan industry compared to other regions?

A constantly growing industry with enough potential to grow further is what makes the Kenyan industry unique compared to other regions.

Is there something you are really looking forward to in the pipeline?

We wish to meet developers, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders in the construction industry to introduce and explain features and benefits of our products in the market.

How will it benefit customers to see you at the event?

It will be an opportunity for everyone to see our products, raise questions and meet our top management for building a business relationships.
